The Sony UWP-X1 is a UHF wireless Lavalier microphone system consisting of a body-pack transmitter, uni-directional lavalier microphone and tuner-module receiver for the Sony MB-806A tuner base, SRP-X700P or SRP-X351P mixer/amplifiers. The system operates via UHF channels and features 188 user selectable frequencies, providing plenty of options when interference is present.
The Sony tuner-module receiver interfaces with the MB-806A base unit or SRP-X700P and SRP-X351P mixer-amplifiers. Up to six tuner-modules can be used simultaneously with the MB-806A, up to 2 modules in either mixer. A comprehensive LCD screen display channel and frequency information, plus audio output status and RF input level. RF squelch control virtually eliminates ambient noise and unwanted signals from other wireless microphone systems.
The body-pack transmitter features selectable RF-output level. Users are able to choose from 5mW output, which is suitable for simultaneous multi-channel operation or 30mW output for long distance transmission. The body-pack transmitter is capable of operating up to 6 hours on two-AA size alkaline batteries. Their is an LCD display and a 3.5mm input jack which accepts the output of any lavalier microphone equipped with a 3.5mm mini output. The system is supplied with a uni-directional lavalier microphone with a signal response suitable for any application.
