PANASONIC AJ PCD35
Panasonic has officially introduced our new AJ-PCD35 P2 Drive.
This Five slot P2 Drive offers external PC / MAC or internal PC operation. It
connects via a “PCI-e" card slot of a tower computer. The major benefit
of the AJ-PCD35 is it supports a peak transfer speed of up to 1.2 Gbits/sec with
multiple 64GB P2 Series “E” cards, or, a peak of 800 Mbits/sec off
of a single A-series 64GB card. This equates to a 64GB “A” Series
P2 Card being transferred in approximately 10 minutes1. This is a super fast transfer,
which can significantly improve the speed of your customer’s P2 workflow.
The AJ-PCD35 with its PCI Express Interface enables speedy transfer speeds of
nearly 3x USB 2.0 and 1.5x firewire/1394b. By using the AJ-PCD35 with smaller
capacity P2 cards, peak transfer speeds of up to 800 Mbits/sec with multiple P2
cards, or, a peak of 640 Mbits/sec off of a P2 card can be achieved.
NOTE
•Internal Mac-Pro Tower / PC Buss adapter using Dual/Quad/or 8 Core CPU
(PC or
Mac-Pro Tower systems) when at least two 64GB A series cards are copied
to a
multi disk RAID Array (RAID0)
•Transfer speeds vary based on computer and RAID configuration.
The PCD35 supports all P2 card sizes, as well as all P2 formats and frame rates.
Please note, the actual transfer rate varies depending on the file being transferred,
the system, the application software, the P2 card version and other conditions.
